It was between the A7mk3, the RX10mk4 and a bike for me but as much as I don't want to admit it in here, the bike has won this time.The A7mk3 seems an absolutely superb all round and I'm impressed with the figures coming in:

The main issue for me as always with the A7 series is that I lose interest as I start pricing up lenses not just because of the cost but also because in some cases it will be the fifth time I've bought such a lens after investing in 4/3, micro 4/3, Nikon F-mount and Sony E-mount.If I didn't have the latter two I'd have probably snapped a A7mk3 straight up.

I know what you guys are saying. Took me a few weeks to decide whether to sell up my nikon gear and move over.. But so glad I have it the best choice I've made.
Seems Sony still haven't sorted out the overheating issues with video yet (skip to 7.25 ish)

It appears it a good job I got one from the show. As many stores not expecting stock till mid or end April
Doubt it's random as it's something that's plagued Sony for a while. But how often do you shoot video, and if you do how often do you shoot video for long periods? Most people will never see this issue data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Very much my though I don’t shoot video at that length in one go.

Interesting on the overheating, I shoot video and photographs at weddings and my A9's haven't overheated yet
