First impressions of B&H and Adorama not great. Latter has ignored 2 emails and former asked me to send all their exact product codes after emailing them the full product description from their website. Would have thought they could be more helpful

Strange - they're the two who I thought would be the most helpful!

Maybe an email to Adorama's professional department might get you a better response - (address found on this page) (you might have to register and open a pro account with them).

B&H's product codes might be easier for them, computer-wise - I'd just give them a list and take it from there. The D850 code is NID850

Jeez...getting closer...but a lot more painful that I expected.

Both returned incomplete quotes. B&H forgot the camera itself! Adorama 2 lenses. Adorama literally just quoted their website price, no bulk order discount. B&H knocked 200 off a 13,000 quote so not the most exciting. Is it just a case that you can't get money off on Nikon?

Not much leeway in new items I don't believe. Depending on the lens though you can get a better saving with their cash back offers that come out a couple of times a year or so.
