I don't eat much meat and never have but I don't think I could ever go without it. I could probably give up red meat and live on diary products, chicken and fish but then every time I smelled bacon being cooked I just couldn't resist it. The other side of the coin is some of the vegans I do know are often challenged about the shoes they wear, if yeast is an animal, is their beer vegan - as if finding some mistake in their decisions would undermine their own dietary choice.I find that just as odd!
