Yeah, I think its a good starter, and if you like it, you can then move on to the more expensive ones if you feel the need.

Litepanels were at Focus on imaging last year, not cheap, but claim to made a lot better than most. You still can't replace a single failed led though.
Just had my ticket through for next year's show 6-9 March.. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

c-126 on ebay has 126 LEDs, has similar 'on dark, turn to adjust dimming) and is £30. There are some youtube videos about showing them working.

Ahoy!
I know it's not the fastest, but having done a bit of research, this card represents pretty good VFM IMHO.
Not 'arf bad for an 8Gb CF card @ £12.18 delivered: Transcend 8GB 133x Ultra Speed Compact Flash Card: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessories

For those wanting to take a punt (includes myself, haven't decided yet), check out http://www.procamerashop.co.uk.Reviews online seem decent (at least so far) from trustpilot/reviewcentre.
They are UK based (spoke to them on phone too), but source from abroad (meaning Intl warrantly for Canon lenses, but no UK warranty for Canon bodies). They offer 1 year seller warranty on the body.Have a friend who bought a 7d from them and are happy with it.
For comparison, 7d from procamerashop comes to £969.02 (inclusive of delivery and 3% BT discount).
That compares to £1029 (excl delivery) Kerso (US warranty valid in UK) and £1159 Jessops (UK warranty, incl delivery).
I've used SimplyElectronics before for my flash (without issue), but wouldn't want to get a camera body from them in case of issues.
What do you think?

seems more expensive for Nikon- only looked at a few lenses so maybe ok for individual cases but at these prices I would stick to a tried and trusted UK company
