Looks really nice get my notifications and does gps exactly what i was expecting.
If thats all your after you will be happy. if your after some life changing apps you probs wont be.
How come mine isnt working then what settings u using?
Are you using a map app or just the s-health app? if your using map app maybe its trying to download maps/images etc which obviously would need a connection.
I just need to find a watch face i really like now. I want a classic analogue style one. You can get the watch creator app but im no good at stuff like that.
Ive tried using both but they ask for location to be on phone
I duno then. so in s health you started a new activity? i did that and it asked if i wanted to use gps.
Also i had an s health update so maybe it was just enabled in that? have you got the latest version?

You need to be outside for the gps to work, if your sitting indoors rewatching the game of thrones box set and playing with the watch it won't work, also anyone out there with an iPhone there's a beta version available that works ok- just google it, mine came yesterday but I'm a bit miffed I missed out on the free headphone offer I ordered mine on the 7th but didn't get it anyone order later than the 7th and get the headphones?
Bit peeved at the moment. Was told I should be expecting it yesterday from Samsung and still no show.
I ordered the classic gear S3 last night it will arrive tomorrow. I think I could have got it cheaper than £350 but I get 2 years warranty so it's not too bad. Looking forward to having a smart watch again after owning gear s 1 and Apple Watch especially as the gear s3 has had many positive reviews.
I've just boxed mine up and sent it back.
-It's a beautiful watch but it's nowhere near as good as my garmin for running,
-In the uk it won't allow you to make calls without your phone,
-Samsung/android pay doesn't work
-I've an iPhone and downloaded that leaked app for it-it's rubbish, you can't send txts and you can't dial out calls from an iPhone with it either
Maybe if you already have a samsung watch it'll integrate really well but all i could get it to do was tell the time, take my heart rate and as long as it was hooked up to the wifi at my house it could tell me what the weather was like outside...but not what it would be like tomorrow, very dissapointed, might have a go at the apple watch but i just don't think they look that nice, might even buy it again in 6 months if they bring out an iPhone app that works...
