Shame the Index doesnt use the cameras for tracking as an option.
The more I read, the more im inclined to stick with my Odyssey

This is aimed at enthusiasts and tinkerers. It looks like they will be putting some api`s out for the expansion port for addons like the leap motion etc.

Its unbelievable. After 3 year they couldn't come up with a solid reason for two cameras on the front?
I've changed my mind I'm getting one lol.

Good hands on report from UploadVR

"I haven’t tried HP Reverb or Pimax, but Index was better than Rift S as well as every other pre-2019 headset I’ve used."

Thing is if you get Knuckles the HMD is onlt £430 more.

I'm scared that if I only buy the HMD and Knuckles then one of me Base Stations dies I'll have to fork out another £278 where if I buy the full pack I can keep the new BS as spares and save £48.

For its price it needs a WOW factor, and from what I`ve just heard it doesn't really have one.
