Looks like it is going to be a marathon for you Phil!! Get lots of energy drinks data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Thanks for the information...
I will be checking your twitter feed for sure.
From my side, main interest on top of the usual:
- Sony xg90 and xg80 plus any new oled? True zd9 successor preview ?
- Samsung q10fn ? (Qantum on glass? Mini led ? Ai for 4k? 55?)
- will pana do a fald and add DV ?
- will LG improve the panels again this year and comment (do something to guaranteee) on burn in ?
- any mini led? Micro led ? True qled ?
- curious to see what b&w will do to Philips 2019 as it is supposed to be the real deal
- hdmi 2.1

Looks like we are going to hear a lot about 8k this hear. Let’s hope the improvement cascade to 4k...

Have fun Phil and thank you in advance for your hard work and feedback to us..

You might see some of that. Philips UK announcements will be in Amsterdam 22/23rd January and not at CES.

Few assumptions about the model order for next year. I have no claim to the accuracy of my assumptions.
If it goes in the Latin alphabet (M, N, O, P, Q, R ...) this year, in Samsung's model suffix, TVs should have the letter O (example - SAMSUNG UE65OU8002), but obviously it will not happen due to the arrangement of two alphanumeric characters   the probability of scrambling the letter O with the number 0 (zero).
Because of this, marketers will probably jump over it and move to letter P or R (Q will be skipped because it is reserved for quantum dot models - Quantum Dots)

I think only the 8K sets will be 00R. From what I know you already have the Q900R out now and there will be 1 more lower end 8K set coming. All the normal 4K QLED sets will have a different letter at the end. I don't know this for certain but from what iv read it seems that's how it will be.
