It's $25 (£15.24) direct from the site still. I'd better get it now before they bring it in line with Steam!

I was tempted by this when i saw it a few weeks back... still tempted but not sure whether to bite the bullet now or wait until release.

I was dubious at first, but damn it's right up my street.
Only played in the arena so far and the testing ground download that you get, but I must say I'm pretty impressed, just love smashing other cars up.

If you buy it from their website rather than Steam, can you still play it through Steam?

You can yes.
Plus, to those wondering whether to pick this up, if you ever played Destruction Derby on the Playstation and enjoyed that, this is for you.I feel I have had my monies worth just from the bowl and two tracks that come shipped with the game currently. As soon as they add multiplayer to this it will be an absolute blast.

The minute I saw this on Steam I thought about Destruction Derby.
Thanks Dean, but does it work like a steamworks game, with stats on all of that, or just a like 3rd party game you add to the Steam?

Guys you can smash your car up to the size of a small child. Buy the fudgeing game.

No it works like a Steamworks game and you will be given a Steam code granting early access. There are no achievements or stat tracking in place at the moment, but that will no doubt come as the game development progresses.

just bought this as my 6 year old loves smashing stuff up:
That's my first go at shadowplay as well. Works pretty good.
