data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 I've just seen a video on this and it looks as though it could be very good!
I used to very much enjoy Flatout and the gameplay video I've seen of the demo makes it look very impressive

Just bought this; the preview videos look fantastic and arcade racers always make a good respite from 'serious' racing sims.

How is this working out? £15?
Looks like a lot of fun for that.

pre order from $25 which is about £15.
no brainer as it would be a day one purchase from me anyway and had already pledged to the now cancelled kickstarter project

No but you do get 3 different events: destruction derby environment, a gravel track and tarmac track with 2, 12 or 24 cars plus the ability practice on the tracks.
You also get access to the tech preview version 2.0 which is even more fun as it too has 20AI cars, weapons and a host of ramps and destructable things to mess about with.

Is this different to project cars then.
This is more Arcady right?

Polar opposites gameplay wise. With both you pay for a pre-alpha game which then entitles you to the retail version. BugBear are using the direct feedback from members to shape the direction of the game too.
The cars handle better in NCG! I kid of course - NCG is 100% arcade with a fantastic destruction model.
