Most tracks are just named after the town/city/region they're located in. Seems weird that you need a license to use that name in a video game !

It is a pity they didn't get the real name for Donington!

Simply Sausages Donington Park Race Track! Love that!

I expect most people know already but they have the license for most of the Motorsports Vision tracks so will add:

Brands Hatch
Oulton Park
Snetterton
Cadwell Park

They have not been made yet and last I saw they will be laser scanned so probably that is why they are coming later. There's also a licensed New Zealand track where they race V8 Supercars etc and some classic events.

I'm not sure if the situation is the same with the tracks as with the cars but there has certainly been evidence of 'build it first as we are hopeful to get the license anyway as things progress'. It has worked out with the four classics Lotus cars already.

Excellent, I love brands hatch, and I used to be able to hear the races from my parents house fromOulton Park.

(also used to be able to go and watch for free as a child as there was a hole in the hedge...... its all fixed up these days however).

is this crossfire friendly? I'm thinking of getting it, but I want to make sure it is as my GPU is internally crossfired so can't really be disabled if it causes problems

pigginbacon Publish time 27-11-2019 05:28:26

Yes it works with crossfire. You have to modify the game shortcut I think but it does work. There is plenty info on the forums about it.

ok, thanks.

is it subscription based, or one time purchase?

pigginbacon Publish time 27-11-2019 05:28:28

A one time purchase. There are different levels of membership you can buy in at which can be found here:

CARS sure looks the business! Rain effects are coming along nicely, especially as this is the 'first pass' from reading the release notes.

I'm currently loving driving around Bathurst and Hockenheim in the two Caterhams and the feeling is fantastic.
