World of Warcraft when it was first released, stopped playing quite a few years ago after they dumbed down the fighting mechanics.
All the new games look nice, but just not impressed by the game play.
The Last of Us is THE best game I have ever played. It was like playing in a (Very, very good) movie! The story was just brilliant. The remastered version running HDR on PS4 Pro/4K OLED TV looks fantastic. The second is scheduled in the next year or two (the sooner the better).
Also enjoying Uncharted 4, i've had it since launch day but only now finding the time to play it! Another amazing looking game with HDR.
Also Red Dead Redemption was a very good game, didn't manage to finish though - second one arriving in Spring 2018 apparently.
Games to look forward to in the next six months (PS4)...

Death Stranding
These all look like amazing titles, but the big one for me (which has been announced) is The Last of Us 2. I think gaming is on the up with some amazing games scheduled to come out soon....
Metal Gear Solid V
Has to be the first Resident Evil on the psone many hours lost playing it and nothing since grabbed me. I also loved Tekken 2 seeing that start up intro blew me away.
The last game to really impress me was Forza Horizon 3, game of the year imho!
Zelda botw I guess. It's big. It's nice looking. She's a keeper
Resident Evil 2 on the PS1 and recently The Witcher 3.
Last of us will be next purchase , love naughty dog games. Played and finished all drakes and lost legacy.
The last Tomb Raider game impressed the hell out of me, as did the one before that. I've always been fond of the original games as they set the benchmark when I was growing up, but the reboot has been fab.
Before that, it has to be The Last Of Us. Sensational in every way. It's the game play that does it for me with that, though I do admit its story is very compelling indeed. Can't wait for Part II, though I have a feeling we won't be seeing that until mid 2019..
