Using the Barclaycard tools (which are pretty good actually) I see we've averaged £670 per month on supermarket shopping over the last six months. That's for a family of mostly five, now six.Probably take that up to £750 with my lunches.About on par with what I was expecting.

Probably £50-£75 (each) a week or so.

Cost of living is quite high here though. The only supermarkets are the C.I. Co-op, Waitrose and M&S, so not much in the way of bargains. Supermarket multi-buys are pretty much non-existent.

We probably spent about 30% less when we lived in the UK.

I budget about £200 a month for shopping, usually done in 2 trips.Add in maybe £50 here and there for little things that we've forgotten and the occasional take away.

So around £250 (max) per month between 2 of us, around £30 a week.

Probably about £40 a week each, but the children are still quite young. 6 and 9.

I reckons fair proportion goes on wine and apples. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Similar here, and we don't even buy snacks or booze as part of our diet.

yeah, I buy lunch at work @3.10 a pop, then spend an additional 20-40 quid a week (inlcuding drink) for myself... got a steady routine where hardly anything is wasted at all...

Four of us and spend £800- £1000 a month. Eldest is a sportsman and eats lots including steak and smoked salmon for breakfast

2 adults and 2 children and we spend about £100 per week so that's £25 each which I thought was bad enough!

data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7Wow, that is very low.Where do you shop mostly?

Dony Publish time 26-11-2019 05:35:33

Mine was £100 per week between 5 (£20 each) and that includes everything including toiletries etc.

Main shop is done in Tesco's, but bread, milk, meat and veg is done locally.
