Mornings seem to be a good time at this time of year. Im not long back from getting some stuff from my local supermarket this evening and shelves were sparce in places. Couldn't get my usual butter and the lindt chocolate balls were all gone too.

Alcohol section looked like it was on a closing down sale and while I did manage to get my favourite bread, it too looked like it was about to go into 'I'll wrestle you for the last loaf' mode.

We don't bother with a starter these days. The usual turkey breast rolled and stuffed, duck fat roasties, swede & carrot mash, roast parsnips, cheesy leeks, sprouts sauteed in butter, chorizo and chopped chestnuts, gravy, sausages wrapped in bacon and cranberry sauce.
The others will then have Xmas pud with brandy cream. I won't bother as I don't like sweet stuff.
I usually cook most of it the day before but there are only 3 of us this year so i'll just do it through the day with a 2 hour break at the pub between 12 and 2. We'll sit down around 6.

Yeah, it seems a lot...crippled by indecision. Also doing roasted and mashed potatoes.
