Apart from the obvious must include swede, meaty stuffing and parsnip. Also cook Lamb as well as Turkey becaues its such a dull tasting meat.

I'll be doing our normal starters of Veg Soup/Prawn Cocktail/Corn on the cob (3 of us have corn, 1 for soup and prawn cocktail for my wife). Then it'll be a full traditional fayre ala Jamie Oliver's family Christmas.
I'm looking forward already to the preparations which I normally start 5 days before (gravy is the first thing I make).

Brother in law couldn't make it until Boxing Day one year, so we had curry and all the bits for Christmas Day.That was a winner.

First meal of the day also a tradition for me has to be a Bacon sarnie and cup of tea to kick things.

Missus forgot to buy bacon a few years back, pretty much ruined the whole day she hasn't forgot since data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Bacon sarnie for breakfast, then dinner will be around 2/3pm. It'll be goose and ham for the meat, with roast spuds, carrots, cauliflower, pigs in blankets, sage and onion stuffing, bread sauce and gravy.
