I did the HIM in Majorca year before last and it was very very hot and I managed to get heatstroke and threw up a lot on the run which I did manage to finish (just a bit below expectation). Did though mean when I went full distance in Frankfurt in the July nothing seemed quite as bad.

I'm also in on Staffordshire 70.3 (along with Roth and Weymouth 70.3).

Roth is incredible. Did it last year and I'm still on a bit of a come down from it!

Quick typing fingers to enter Roth! @BriD

Yep. Gone in 70 seconds.

Race report for anyone doing Roth this year, might find it useful Challenge Roth 2015

Yes, cycling down a road at 30mph and a lovely lady decided to pull out data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7.
Over the worst now, but certainly wouldn't be able to get to the fitness level I need for next years. There's always 2018!!Never say never!

Ta very much, looking forward to it...apart from the heat, I'm not great in heat...

4 weeks from Staffordshire and I only started cycling again a couple of weeks ago after my marathon training. My first ride in 6 weeks was up Mt Tiede in Tenerife which was basically a world of pain as cardio was fine, but my poor quads and hip flexors were not very happy and few rides since have been hard, but hopefully should be okay. Not done much swimming either, but I never do so no change there. In reality though I'm targeting Weymouth as my A race and hoping I will be relatively competitive (top 10 in age group) so I have time.

Having a panic - 4 weeks to Staffs and my swimming has gone to pot. Last 2 sessions I've only lasted half a mile before I'm goosed!

Can only hope that it's down to being a fasted swim as they've both been early morning sessions with minimal breakfast...
