How is the training going?
Doing my first IM in Majorca in September (and the Staffs 70.3 event in June)
Just doing base training at moment but coming along well. Could be a warm one in Majorca. I think a couple of guys from our club did that one last year and was getting warm by the run.
Must have hurt the bank balance with those 2 races!!!!!
Yeah - I think the heat is going to be a bit of a shock. My shoulders always burn for no reason, even during a cloudy sprint distance event last year so I'm looking at one if those sleeved tri vests.
Doing a full IM was always my goal, it's the swim that scares me, but I'm able to knock out a mile without too much trouble these days, just need to be able to knock out a 2nd one now!!
The long sleeves are supposed to be more aero so performance gains too. If you can swim a mile then 2 miles will be no issue especially in a wetsuit.

IM Copenhagen here. First HM but been racing HIM and Oly for the last 3 years. August is looming large!!

I don't know if it's a true "IM" event but I saw an iron distance event for Iceland which interested me - and the swim was pool based which was a little surprising...
The Wales IM is interesting me for next year though, I'm thinking entry will open around the time I get back from IM Mallorce.
