I get the flame thrower out for snotty white.Unless I'm frying them with the lid on.

I've just done bacon and egg in the oven and the blow lamp sorted out the snotty egg. Thanks for the tip data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Deep oil in the pan always ensures I never have a snotty egg and keep moving it as it's frying.

I remember many years ago watching a Gary Rhodes cooking show so I’ve cooked my fried eggs the same way as him ever since. With butter.
In fact he did a full English breakfast guide. I must see if it’s on YT

Found it. Hopefully someone might pick up a tip. Three parts in total.

The time it took him to drawl over the bacon and get a tad too excited about the sausage I had cooked and served two full English breakfasts with all the trimmings data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
I'll leave off the oil in future though for the bacon.

I’ve not used oil for bacon for many years now.
Yes, it took him an age to do the bacon and sausages.
I prefer doing sausages in the oven/grill combo.
