well Ive been ery happy with the system so far, was installed on 27th November 2011, and upt and including today Im now on 2287.7

Last few months have been as follows

Jan             170
Feb             268.7
Mar             371.2
Apr             380.5
May            445
Jun             414.5

Managed to overshoot by a large margn what the energy trust website suggested we could expect each month...

So with start of December throughthe end of May (6 months) paying £820 I really couldnt be happier.

What with the approximate 50% saving on our electiricity bill too, the solar panels are by far one of the best things I have ever spent money on...

What with then selling my R8 the other week, and using the funds from that towards my mortgage, I am really starting to act like a grown up...hahahaha

Not come on summer...bring on the sunshine....21 today.....

Had a 4kw system installed Tuesday by green ltd and it's been fun watching it in different weather. Generated 19.95kwh today which is nearly double that of yesterday and 4X what I got on Tuesday after they finished fitting.

Mine was also installed in November 2011 (3.315kW), generated about 1.8 MWh so far. I'm also very please with my system, although E.ON are very slow in paying...

You should join the AVF Team on PVOutput...

Really bad generation yesterday. 3.25kwh but it was very cloudy and dull and rained all day. Hopefully much better today.

I am wondering if anyone knows where to buy solar panels from along with all of the mounting equipment?

I am new to this and would like to setup my solar array before the government feed in tariff is cut.

A friend of mine suggested:Solar & Heat Store Wholesale Solar Panels UK | Solar PV | Photovoltaic Panels | UK's Largest PVDistributor

Does anyone have any other ideas? Really want to get this sorted.

I may be wrong but think you need to get it installed by a proper company to get the feed in tariff. You at least need to get the meter certified.

Needs to be an MCS approved/certified installation to be eligible for FITs, so self install is not an option if you want to go via this route.
