Getting back to the Labour party......data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

With all the Brouhaha, we have to question what this is about.

Is it a plot to oust Corbyn? He is particularly weak in situations like this. Almost defended Shah at first before realising that was a mistake and then took action. Any Burnham has been very vocal on the crisis.

Is it really that the Labour party is institutionally anti-Semitic? Left wing parties like to associate themselves with the down trodden minorities. Its easy for them to fall into the trap, because the Jewish diaspora stereotypically may be mainly middle class, businessman or bankers. However racism is racism, rich or poor.

It should also be noted that many labour voters are from Muslim areas like Bradford. Support is important, and just like Nas Shah, who probably grew up with anti Jewish influences, the labour party will have to watch this problem.

Lastly, as I highlighted in one of my previous threads, free speech not tolerated in 2015 (16), there are things you can say and things you can't say. If you are accused of Islamaphobia or anti-Semitism, what ever you said, true or not, the label sticks.

Ken Livingstone found this out.

Its going to be interesting to see how Corbyn navigates through this minefield

"Anti-Semitism, hostility toward or discrimination against Jews as a religious or racial group. The term anti-Semitism was coined in 1879 by the German agitator Wilhelm Marr to designate the anti-Jewish campaigns under way in central Europe at that time."

anti-Semitism

And your choice of the phrase "chosen few". A typical accusation that Jews believe they are the chosen, but mainly used by Jew haters to perpetuate the conspiracy.

It wont be easy since he supports these ideals hence why he is so very slow to do anything...

Again, I think you need to re-appraise the body count in Syria and Iraq since 2003. For reference I consider any killing over Islamic sectarian lines to be one attributed to extremist Islamic beliefs.

Israel has done much harm - but nothing like the nutjobs who would murder their neighbours over something that happened 1500 years ago.

This is interesting considering it's not long ago there was the dog whistle talk around Miliband being 'North London' and 'Metropolitan' (as Paxman said a 'North London geek') which is the equivalent of 'New York' in the USA which Ted Cruz has been guilty of and famously came up in the pilot of the West Wing.

There was the three Jewish extremists last year in Israel that abducted a Palestinian boy beat him and then burn't him alive Theres also in the past plenty of cases of Jewish extremists killing Jewish and Muslim politicians and carrying out bombings. You've also got thew Israeli governments morally ambigious policy of state sponsored assasnations nevemind how many civilians have been killed in Israeli aitr stikes, white phosphorous attacks on schools and hospitals and forgein peace protestors that have been killed in cold blood by the IDF.

"Close to home"was emphasised for a reason.Regrettably a large proportion of the British population are completely oblivious to what goes on in the rest of the world outside of the front page of the newspapers.

Any word from the UAF on this?
