The problem with the whole abortion issue in the US is that widespread access to abortion was brought in without any consent from the electorate or their representatives. It was imposed by a decision of 9 unelected judges - so anything imposed by them can also be overturned by them.

Well I dont think the SC is the best way to make Law - but given that is the current system then having abalance of views seems sensible to me.
