A balance should be the ideal but then again, when the appointments are tainted by politics (of whatever hue or view), there's little hope of that.
What you guys over the pond wish for your supreme court or not is out of your hands, effectively, isn't it? You don't choose them and their associated politics and beliefs, do you?
Where do you stand personally on abortion rights? I'm for freedom of choice up to 20 weeks and beyond that only on strict medical grounds, for example where to go on would knowingly risk the life of the mother. |
