Of course it does.
But as a bi-product of a totally pious, unscientific and misguided desire to protect the lives of the unborn. It's not done to keep women down, or because 'old white men want control of women's bodies'.
There are extremists on the other side too. Those who want women to have the right to terminate at any stage of the pregnancy, right up to the birth.Thank goodness the supreme court isn't stacked with people who think that way.

Yes of course he officially needs to despite the 'man' having no place, so I have no problem with London protests. I heard something about a USS John S. McCain baseball cap being projected onto Madame Tussauds.

If we are going to bar people from commemorations and remembrance parades because they haven't served that includes a lot of people. Including you doesn't it?
He's the President. How much flak would he get for not commemorating it?
Probably from you as well, as you then do here.
He did attend one.
FACT CHECK: Does This Photograph Show President Trump Visiting a WWI Cemetery in the Rain?
Fair one.
Which seems questionable. Someone, somewhere may have said that.

I hope those on the left who are criticising Trump and the D-Day commemorations will also be asking where Corbyn is next Armed Forces day (on the 29th). Has he ever attended an event?

You don't have to be on the left to criticise Trump. Btw have May or Cameron ever attended such an event? I presume Gordon Brown has, since he created the day. I presume most of them are usually on their Summer hols, but do turn up for Remembrance Sunday.
EDIT ... CMD was at an AFD 2011 parade in Edinburgh with senior dignitaries.
Is that a proven fact?
