The problem then is in the word 'give'.
We don't give the EU £350 million a week, even though the official figure is £350 million before rebates.

He’s seen as a messiah because he’s jumping in now and saying what those voters want to hear. He’s spent his political life blowing in the wind to wherever he benefits most, this isn’t anything new.

This is the first case that has made it to court.
Getting this far means it’s already a success.
Boris will at most get a slap on the wrist, but the implications are that it will make politicians think twice about knowingly lying for fear of similar repercussions to Boris.
This stupid statement might have cost him the PM job. I wonder if Boris is thinking, if he’d put £200 million as the figure, that it wouldn’t have made any difference to how people voted, just his ego pushed him to do it.
Farage is probably on another high, watching this unfold

Literally the point. You admit there are two figures. So having admitted it's a viable figure, how can you say it's wrong?
If it was one figure and you said anything different you'd have a point.
Now imagine your employer is asked how much they pay you.
What will your employer say?

It’s pretty obvious there are two figures, nobody has ever denied that so I’m not sure what I’m admitting?
It’s wrong because we don’t send £350m to the EU.It’s not that difficult a concept to grasp yet its being wilfully denied.
My employer will say that they pay me a gross salary. However, neither I, nor my bank account, ever sees that gross amount available to me because the deductions have already been done on paper before I get paid.
Three years down the line and we’re still arguing over a basic concept.

Everything.
Look at the thread. Same battle lines drawn. Remainers funnying and liking posts and arguing it's wrong. including you, leavers saying it's right.
This is about Boris using a figure from the Government's own treasury report. It just doesn't include the rebate.

I’m not sure I’ve actually said anyone else doesn’t fella? This is a thread about Johnson and I was responding to a post about Johnson.

When? As I think you are barking up the wrong tree on that. He wrote two letters before coming out for leave. Both was as a leaver. Have you been taken in on that?
