Of course it is - that is why I have said several times that the CU proposal is worse than EU membership.

Who has claimed otherwise? - perhaps another case of you only hearing what you want to hear?

Oh look - a politician doing what they were elected to do..how novel..data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

The SNP's Joanna Cherry is angered by calls from Tory MPs to vote for the withdrawal agreement to break the Brexit deadlock.

The MP for Edinburgh South West says she has "no mandate" from her constituents to do that.

People have to understand that there are MPs who were elected on a manifesto in 2017 to stop Brexit, she says.

"Please desist in trying to ram your opinions down our throats."

Technically yes, for the absolutely obvious and plain reason that is was change versus no change.
There is no deal, negotiations with the EU etc etc to have.

Possibly, though we can't say for sure - it would have depended upon the resolve and campaigning by those that wanted to Leave having a significant enough impact on parliament and the parties to force offering a compromise.

Not really, no.

It was the Government and Camerons fault full stop. If need to bring in his Remainer status that's fine data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I think it's relevant to his decision to try and ensure Remain won.Ironically, if he had said it had to be 60:40 then it would have been declared null and void and Remain would have "won" by default.

Now if only all of them were so principled than we know what would actually happen data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Agreed, the whole shenanigans were an attempt to pull the teeth from UKIP and within elements of the Tories - i.e they are causing trouble and problems, give them their silly referendum and when they loose we can tell them you had your chance now bugger off.

We are now mired in the fallout from that stupid decision with a situation so divided and emotive that it has jammed up the gears of our parliament.

Doesn’t have to be decisive when remain joins in with leave to make this work. Leave did win after all data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Pacifico Publish time 25-11-2019 22:10:32

So how would you have tackled the increasing anti-EU feeling in the country if not by giving the electorate a chance to have their say?

Well its only divisive because remainers couldnt accept the result.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
