I’d have no problem with a United Ireland if that’s what the Irish people want.

Exactly and both pushing in differently directions.....

I agree with you, with a referendum so close you are always going to have a significant number of unhappy people. We have seen it over the last two years, even when looking for a deal, with no thoughts of 'no deal' we have seen numerous remainer individuals and groups protesting and trying to disrupt the process.
The difference, in my opinion, is that they were expressing there displeasure as losers as is there right, but if Brexit is cancelled then it will mean that the democratic result (however slim) has been disregarded.
I don't think there will be anarchy either way though - easy to say there will be anarchy but in reality people can't be arsed.
Cheers,
Nigel

Sorry to say but we can honestly look into the future and the Union will eventually break.

It's just a matter of time, Krankie will get 2nd ref, Ireland will merge into one, Wales will see the daylight...
Been on the cards for sometime, Brexit was just the match that lit the pyre.

The border poll was put into the Good Friday Agreement in 1998 yet was never mentioned until the Brexit shambles.
I agree that Brexit is the catalyst, and as a Nationalist I'm pleased how it has brought the Border poll to the forefront, but I never thought I'd see a possible reunification of Ireland in my lifetime so I wouldn't go as far as saying it's been coming.
If and when the poll happens, it's a direct result of Brexit, and the irony of that has not been lost on anyone in N.Ire, Unionist or Nationalist.

Not really just Brexit but the ignoring of the other countries within the union and the Tory parties handling of Brexit and it's refusal to listen

Something always give, Tories are just following the mandate set by the people.
Would we have this uproar if Remain had won? Not really.

See if May had actually sat down with Scot, Irl, Wal and the leaders of all the parties they could of thrashed something out and we possibly could have been out by now but no they tried to force through their own version to try and hold their party together
