Only three years ago and you got the books cheaply? You must have been incredibly lucky.

I paid twice that for my Vol 1 (2001) edition. Very fine jacket and book, signed. I have a 1991 Trade paperback version as well, again signed, but found that in a recent move to where the books are, that I had a large data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7ding to the bottom spine. Which only meant that I had to but the 2001 hardback to replace it. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Another proof for me, Before they are Hanged by Joe Abercrombie, signed to the title page.

Recommend a good first Abercrombie book to read I've never read one and I've seen alot of him on here in ppls collections so he must be worth a read

The first book, The Blade itself. Its brilliant, and a three parter along with Before they were hanged and Last Argument of Kings.

Be prepared to pay a fortune if you want hardbacks though....
