Cheers @mitchec1 . data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

It's a bit of a shame that the reason we booked this year was because of the Pickering Festival.

We turned up by fluke a couple of years ago and had one of the best days in our lives (my partner and I). That was 2014 and we only found out that it was the last day of the Pickering Festival a couple of days ago.

The event has since been cancelled, but we didn't find out until after we'd booked accomodation!

Still...it'd be a waste to not visit the North Yorks Moors/Villages coasts and surroundings.

The people are welcoming, friendly, and the location is stunning.

You never appreciate what is on your doorstep...that goes for all of us, but North Yorks is a wonderful place.

It rates right up there with Bora Bora, Seychelles, South Pacific as far as idyllic locations go. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Got a week in Sunny Hunny (Hunstanton for those that don't know).
Big family gathering so unfortunately not allowed to take the dogs.
Will get another smaller holiday booked for me wife and kids. Had a long weekend down in Brighton that we really enjoyed so may do a longer stay down that area.

10 days in the North of Norway in June, not a holiday as such but visiting wifes mother on her 84th birthday in Bodo, fitting in 4 days in the village where rest of family lives (pop 264) complete with one Spa shop and nothing else and it usually rains. dont know whether i looking forward to it or not, but wife is looking forward to it as she not being able to travel to see her mum for 4 years due to 2 serious operations but is on her feet now and and feels well enough to make the journey.
cost an arm and a leg in air fares (2 flights to get there) as no direct flights from Uk.data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

Been 4 times over the years to PortAventura stayed at the Caribe and El Paso 3 time. Kids loved going there and the hotels are very good value. Went for 2 weeks last August. Place gets better and better. Your love it.

Trying to decide what to do this year, my 2 are 15 and 16 now and have told us unless we're going back to Florida Disney they don't want to come away with us. Lol. Must say that's possibly the best holiday we've had.

Booked up to go back to Vegas in Oct, was out there in Dec and loved it. Just looking now at a short 5/6 nights All inclusive in Dubai or somewhere similar.
