Another suggestion which is a 5 minute drive from The Samling is a restaurant called Lake Road Kitchen. Not been myself but I hear it's amazing.
Due to work/family we have not been on holiday for a couple of years so we have just booked 2 weeks in Cuba
Whole place is heaven to me, one of the best summers of my life was working at the manor golf club and living in the log cabin at the end of the 18th hole. Most nights spent down the white hart in castle Coombe chatting to the locals and enjoying a drink sat in front of the market cross.
It's the village where time stood still, such a stunning and peaceful place to be
A couple of weeks in Morocco at the start of August for us and the kids.
7 weeks in Ko samui July-August ,probably spend couple of weeks travelling around Thailand ,but have a few friends who live in Ko Samui so will spend most my time there.
