What cloths do you use to apply and remove the AG resin polish and Dodo Wax?

You can get applicator pads for wax and polish, and a micro fibre to buff off.

I suppose a wheel brush would be in order?
Do you take your wheels off to apply the Gtechniq protector?

I found a wheel brush to be too harsh and scratched my paint data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7
Have been recommended to get some Wheel Woolies for future use.
It's best to remove the wheels when doing the C5 protector, ensures you get all round the wheel, and miss none.

If you're really getting in to it I'd recommend....
Nilfisk pressure washer (choose a model that suits)
Snow Foam
Meguiars Gold class shampoo
2 x wash mitts one good quality one and one a little cheaper for the lower parts of your car
2 x wash buckets for the two bucket method
A Clay kit (I'd stick with fine if you're going to be looking after your car) and possibly some clay lube to play it safe although waters fine
A 5 ltr tub of tardis (try ebay or local autosmart dealer)
EZ Detail brush for backs of alloys
Couple of small 1'' brushes
Autoglym fast glass for the windows
Couple of decent cloths/applicator pads/drying towel
Wax is your choice, my wax or choice is swissvax best of show although I sometimes use onyx as well.
Best wax for alloys and exhaust tip is finishkare 1000p, very durable on paint but not quite as good as the swissvax stuff.
That little lot would certainly keep you going for a long time. I wouldn't worry about polishing yourself yet as that takes things to a whole new level and to do a decent job you'll need a few hours practice under your belt using a decent machine and various compounds. If not done properly you could make the paint look far worse than it originally was! //static.avforums.com/styles/avf/smilies/facepalm.gif

Does wax go on the alloys if it has the Gtechniq applied?
Re buckets and grit guard....
Can't figure out why two sets would cost this much!

Nope, no wax required.Just super clean alloys, then C5 straight on them.I think IPA wipes are recommended.

What alloy cleaner do you recommend before applying the C5?

There are a few, but as your alloys are brand spanking new, you shouldn't need anything too harsh, 10:1 dilute of Bilberry would be fine.
Once they start getting covered in tar / brake dust / road grime you can use Bilberry neat / Tardis / IronX.
