I do sealant, then wax - get good results that way. It may be as pathetic as contesting which end is best to eat an egg from so i ain't arguing if you prefer to do it the other way round data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

@kelvin1965, I found 476S to be a bit of a pain too.
Hard to strike a balance between leaving it on long enough, and being a pain to buff off.
I switched to collinite 'marque d'elegance' 915.
I prefer it all round.
It has a higher percentage of carnauba, and smells better than 476.
476 doesn't half pong, i found breathing it in pretty nasty.

Probably will try some other LSPs at some point, but the 476S lasts for ages so it's good for my daily car. The 476S doesn't smell as good as the Blackhole and QDs that I have, but I put it on really thin and buff it off within 5-10 minutes and it's no bother. I think some leave it on for longer and then it kind of bakes on.

Might try the 915, but the Gtechinq C1 has my interest too.

915 is one of the best you can get and is even on par with the new Autoglym HD wax mate which you only get a small amount, got my 915 for £21 off ebay delivered as welldata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7. it is still beading very well now after 2 months (can last over 6 months) just do not leave it on for as the 30mins like they say if you do not have a pro buffer as it is a pain to get off.
476S is good but if you get another wax try the 915 and use one of them spongy applicators as welldata:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

I bought a few of those spongy applicators, at just over a pound each from Clean your car. Probably what helps with the 476S. I didn't think that AG HD wax was that special but probably because it's made by Auotglym and the usual anti AG attitude on Detailing World. There are so many waxes and sealant that seem to attract even more fervant followers than brands of projectors data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7 that makes it hard to chose.

The C1 is something I want to try, just to see if it matches the hype, plus it's just over £12 for a small bottle. I also like that the Dodo juice waxes can be bought in small tester pots (that many say last them a good few years anyway), so might try one or two of them as well. I just don't want to end up with a cupboard full of loads of different waxes/sealants when in truth any of them will do to protect my car given that it never gets that dirty. data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7

It's bad enough as it is:

I could easily see how you could amass a collection like that ! It is a bit addictive. I like the idea of that Cleanyourcar.co.uk kit bag too Kelvin - I got my Wheel Woolies from them and the service and price was excellent.

My collection is easily as big as that.
I only wish it were as tidily arranged.
