Top floor of John Lewis carpark, I think?
Whichever car park it is, I'm pretty sure it's a barriered one.
Which means it's not classed as a public road.
Which means it's not a police matter, usually.
AFAIK, she couldn't be charged with 'leaving the scene of an accident', like she could if it was an 'unfettered access' car park.
Private carpark (barriered) accidents are a nightmare.
Better off parking in a supermarket carpark, at least you're covered by road law.

Really not sure how things work in a car park like this, with barriers and defined open/close times.
It becomes a civil matter, I think.
Perhaps the footage could be used to raise a small claim through the courts?
The police can't/won't treat it as a road accident/leaving the scene.

Not sure either. Glad I could help this guy out though, even if it I just through insurance. Should save him a few hundred quid anyway.
Would love to hear her story though. She wouldn't have been expecting to be caught like this I bet.

Again, not sure if insurance will be interested for 'accident' on private ground.
I stand (and hope) to be corrected but I think his only option may be to sue her.
