Wish I had of caught this on video.
Young lad in a new little Renault comes crashing into an empty parking spot on the main road, bumps up and then off the curb and bounces to a halt. He then, after opening his door slightly, picks his phone up and puts it to his ear (OH good lad I'm thinking) and then drives off nearly hitting a passing car.

I've just supplied a video clip from my dash cam to the local traffic division to see if they will consider a charge of some description. A transit minibus almost wiped us off the A483 on Thursday. It was only a sixth sense and very sudden braking from me that avoided the collision. I did try to put a clip up on here but the site didn't like the formats I was trying to upload.
Even YouTube didn't work?
Doubt it. I sent GMP a clip of a minibus with a trailer cutting me up and forcing me to break really hard. I was in the right hand lane as well (no trailers allowed) but they were not interested
Hopefully this works.
In the video we are approaching a roundabout and there is nothing behind me.

I'm happy to listen to criticism for my part in the drama but you can immediately see the mistakes I made.
1. My attention was on the approaching junction and I forgot to position myself with clear space next to me on the approach.
2. I assumed that he was aware i was next to him because I'd been visible to him for over a minute.
3. The position of the dash cam. It's the first time I'd felt the need to use the footage so hadn't noticed the view was partially obstructed by the rain/light sensor. It's now been moved.
