Boxing Discussion thread *spoilers* (part 2)

On another note, having just moved back to Sky, but gone without Sky Sports due to the fact I would need the Sports package(1&2) to cover all the boxing(split between the various channels, including the 1&2 bundle only 3 and 4). I'm in two minds about paying for the Haye/Klitschko fight this weekend.

Fancy watching it, and if I was to go to a pub to watch it I'd doubtless spend much more than £15 in beer, but does anyone else feel this is not likely to be an exciting fight? I can just see Klit trying to grab and lean, and Haye playing the evasive card as he did against Valuev(fair play if that's his gameplan, but not the most exciting watch).

Shame about the undercard, only one from what I've read and haven't heard of either boxer.

You make some good points Tetlee, i think most boxing fans like boxers that take risks.

PBF for me, is a pure boxer of the highest quality (hit and dont get hit) this may not make for the most entertaining fights, but for pure boxing skill he is up there with the best ever IMO.

Most people will enjoy watching Pac-Man more, purely because of the way he fights. ie, fast flurries, close range fighting and power punching.

For me PBF beats Pac- Man.

Well, decided to shell out my £15 for Haye v Klitschko tomorrow night, seeing as I don't pay for any sports subscriptions it makes the odd PPV events not so bad I guess, thought I'd treat myself to a big screen evenings entertainment(hopefully will be worth it).

What rumour was that, about him knocking down Groves during sparring or another one?

@Bloodzeed, no idea, never seen any legitimate PPV streams apart from when the fights are on Primtime PPV who give you that option.
