Thought Justin Rose finish was awesome and that putt on the 17th Ian Poulter will not lie down in the Ryder cup just keeps fighting till the end and a future captain I think . Good on them all great golf all round .

So if Tiger had holed that 3 foot put he would have halved the hole?  Been 1 up and the USA would have shared the Ryder Cup? Is that correct??

No if tiger holed that putt Europe would of retained the cup rather than win it outright .

Kaymars putt retained the cup for Europe and Tigers concession won it for Europe.

What an amazing day of golf we had yesterday.  All through the first two days it just seemed to be heading USA's way but we had some really amazing performances yesterday and you felt that once we had the momentum behind us the pressure on the Yanks was only going to build and we were only going to get stronger.  Poulter was amazing both on Saturday and Sunday and that point from Rose after winning the last two holes was huge!  Kaymer's nerves were rock solid as he made the important putt.

Quite simply another amazing day of sport in an already amazing year!

Amazing indeed.  Years not finished but i rhink this one will be remembered for a long time.  

Cycling, Olympics, tennis etc etc.  

All fantastic.  Nothing beats The Ryder cup imo though.  To sit through 6 hours of drama like that.  Mental torture

Indeed for Hamilton to come back in the f1 would certainly be a Ryder cup esque come back.  He has the car and the form if he gets the luck and the reliability!
