Just received my S3 Frontier from Very (£299). Loving it so far, had a couple of AW watches previously (OG MOTO 360, and Huawei Watch) but this S3 is on another level in IMO. It does everything I want, and with the recent addition of the Spotify app and the Watchmaker app put the icing on the cake.

I have been using this one for more than eight months.  Love the gentle look of this watch. Actually, that was the main reason why I brought this watch. But the main problem I am facing is battery life. It has very low battery life.

I'm surprised at this. What do you consider as low battery life? I get a minimum 2 days with everything on including the always on display. I top up every morning before work and that's all the charging I need to do. Alot of people are stretching the battery life to 4 days which is pretty amazing for a smart watch. My pebble used to do 7 days or more but that was nowhere near as feature packed as the s3

I usually get 18 -24 hours maximum. Do think is it enough?

That is far lower than most people get,  which is 2-4 days. You may have a watchface or other app which is draining your battery. Be aware that some 3rd party watch face apps like Facer have been known to cause battery drain problems. If that's not the issue then I'd recommend a factory reset

Anyone got any further thoughts on their S3 Frontier? I've just bought a Galaxy S8 and was thinking of the Frontier to go with it. Cheers

Can anyone tell me what they think on this watch? Is it properly waterproof or samsungs usual "waterproof but only in the right kind of water" situation?

I've had a few smart watches and always given up on them quite quickly, possibly ready to try this one out soon. I read back over the thread for more opinions

Thanks

I'm happy with mine, but haven't got it wet and have no intention of doing so either!

I've been in the sea with it for up to an hour at a time. I wouldn't go diving with it on but can confirm it is waterproof. And it is a brilliant smart watch

Thanks, that's what I'm after. OK in the hot tub and for surfing, not bothered about diving. It certainly sounds appealing.
