Samsung Gear S3

Cool, I'm keeping my iPhone so will use that with it, I understand support and apps are limited with iOS but I only really bothered about notifications and a few health apps. But I like the fact you can get loads of faces. The ones on the Apple Watch aren't that great. Is the s3 Watch face as sharp as the Apple Watch screen?

Thought the s2 was a good as the apple watch,  after getting the s3 I would say it looks better than the s2.

Got the s3. Really nice looking Watch but wow the apps are terrible. The store doesn't even compare with the Apple Watch store. I know it's limited as I'm using an iPhone and can only use free apps. But are there many paid apps? Gonna see if I can borrow an old android phone as there's a way to get paid apps on the iPhone using an android to download them

The iPhone app has only just released.  To be honest unless you really like the hardware then I wouldn't necessarily suggest iPhone users get this watch.  I am sure the store will develop more in time for IOS users.  Apparently there is a way of using a cheap Samsung phone to download apps from the Samsung store.  

In terms of apps there is not as many apps for this watch as with the apple watch or Android wear.  I have to say though that I have owned various smart watches and have barely ever used any apps.  For me a smartwatch is an extension of my phone that allows me to check and reply to notifications, music controls and fitness tracking. Samsung pay will also be nice when it arrives but I cannot think of any other apps I really want.  This watch has sold well so I am sure the apps will come.

Yeah to be fair I just like wearing it as it's a nice looking Watch to get notifications on. Didn't really use many apps on my iPhone apart from hue and Apple Pay. Apparently there a way to get Samsung pay

Now I've downloaded a load of tag heuer and omega watch faces it's totally worth it lol

That's an absolute bargain.  Sell the Gear Fit on ebay and you'll effectively get 100-150 off the retail price

I noticed Very have the Gear S3 Frontier for £309.99 at the moment.  Considering a few weeks ago it was sold out everywhere that's also a good deal
