I called Apple yesterday and purchased the Applecare   for £49 for 2 years.  I thought they would run some diag tests or something but explaned the geneeral Keyfacts stuff and took my card details.  Have got the documents e-mailed and they'll be arriving in the post as well soon.

You can do normal sms. Just sent and received a message using my android phone to test.

So you can add AppleCare anytime I'm guessing up to a year after purchase?

Purchase AppleCare  with your new Apple Watch. Or buy it within 60 days of your Apple Watch purchase.

3 months?  As far as I recall 60 days is 2 months

Haha argh stupid phone typo rushing and not paying attention!

Oops my finger slipped and ordered the 42mm sport blue band. Want a black band but would be worried about the black case scratching and showing marks easier so will get another strap at later date! Plus I think the space grey one has slipped to July now!

If I am wearing my watch and go somewhere without my phone (not on wifi), does the watch pick up notifications automatically when I get near my iPhone or would I have to check my phone for missed notifications?
