To be successful it's gonna have to be console ish price, nobody (more so vr noobs like me) is gonna buy at 900 quid, and is all just rumors until we hear. But has to be sub 400 for me.
They have to price at a wide audience ie new console 350-400 or will not sell enuf imo

If it is hardware, I suspect controller battery power is most likely. A wireless HMD or a higher res screen would be nice though.

Yup, the "huge" technological breakthrough is a camera which allows you to see reality at the touch of a button. A nice feature imho, but hardly a breakthrough? - I've had a camera on my phone for years
