Isn't technology great....delivery came of my ring stick cam today whilst I was on the school run. Got notified by my ring video doorbell and asked the driver to leave it in a safe place as advised by me. Don't know who was more impressed, the driver or me.

haha yea which camera did you purchase? I have the ring doorbell pro still thinking of buying a camera as $175 isnt to bad of a price

Yep I have the pro version too of the doorbell. I thought ring only have the one model of camera, got the solar charger to go with it too.

Ring support tell me there has been a recent firmware update.  It would appear they've fixed the issue (that the support team couldn't understand).

I certainly didn't do anything.  I would also expect something like this that's permanently connected to the internet to be able to update itself too.

no they have a original version which is 720p and the pro version which is 1080p I got my pro version $25 off with the coupon code 14picosafe found that on my citys facebook page

on the left hand side there is the orginal ring doorbell which is 2.4GHz conection and 720p and then to the right is the Pro version which supports 2.4GHz and 5Ghz connection and is 1080p video
