Mine has arrived, first impressions are good although Alexa seems a little deaf, sometimes you have to scream at it to wake!

Another annoyance is not being able to have the Alexa software on more than one device.  I have wall mounted an Ipad in the kitchen for controls and it stays there permanently, If I use the shopping list, the list goes to the Ipad which is not so useful.  When I install the software on my Iphone, rather than recognising its already set up, it walks you through the first time setup in order to make the Iphone the main device.

I read somewhere that they say to not have it near the wall perhaps this is why The Echo is having trouble hearing you.

I've also tried it a meter away from the wall, even a different room.  I hope this is a faulty device or it's not fit for purpose (voice activation)  Even by the wall, when it finally wakes, it always 100% hears my commands properly, its a problem with the initial wake.

** edit **  Have to say, straight out of the box it seemed fine although its gradually getting worse!

Anybody have any luck connecting their spotify account?  I have tried 4 browsers on 2 different phones and nothing happens at the end, just hangs with this link in the address bar -  http://layla.amazon.com/partner-authorization/establish

If that problem didn't exist, I would say this is a fantastic device, sound is excellent so I'm a little bit gutted right now!

My Echo hasn't arrived yet, but I do have 2 Fire TV devices in the house. I installed the Alex app and was intrigued to see my Fire TV devices listed in there. I still can't get Alexa to do anything on the Fire TV devices, though.

That was happening to me earlier in the week so I've uninstalled the app and am going to try again when my Echo has arrived and I've got it set up.
