I've never used screen protectors, the only precaution I make is not to put the phone in the same pocket as keys/coins. Not scratched a screen yet.

Same here, I do exactly the same as the above and had the s8 plus for about a year without marking it. The front glass is even tougher on these so no worries here.

I went with one of the self healing types. It is applied wet and will also just about tolerate a Spigen armoured case which slightly overlaps (and helps keeps the edges in place).

S9 plus battery life is shocking settings not turned up either - anyone else finding this

I can kill battery in less than half day .. 100% at 8am - 32% @ 12.40.

I have used the phone for emails etc,15 calls

It's not got the greatest battery but I'm not finding it too bad. You may have a rogue app that using a lot of battery life.

Settings>device maintenance>battery>always sleeping apps.

Then select all the apps you want to put to sleep and never run in the background.

Also check your battery usage after you've been using your phone all day to see which apps are killing your battery.

What QHD wallpapers are you using on you S9's?

Battery life for my S9  is superb. 8am 100% it comes off charge. By 5pm it's still at 60% having been used lightly during the day. Default power settings, FHD display mode. Could it be an app consuming power - something using location services constantly? That sort of power usage sounds like GPS but the battery usage in settings should give you a clue as to what the top consumers are.

@DanTheManc I'm using True Realistic Weather by Bastion7 - a live wallpaper. It's not free but its pretty neat.
