Actually just thinking about it, when I tried it it was under florescent lighting, I reckon that was causing it. It seems OK now with normal lighting.

So the Whitestone seems to be the only screen protector being used for now? I got the Samsung Rugged Protective Cover free with the phone on pre-order but not sure what protectors it works with. Vodafone (Ireland) also gave a free screen replacement within the first 12 months on pre-order also so I might just risk not using one.

Coming from an iPhone 6 it’s a massive difference going to the S9 . It’s very heavy but also very fast. It’ll take a few days to get used to it.

Seems like you've sussed it, but with my S8 I had a problem with some micro SD cards not able to write quickly enough which caused a flickering on the screen in the camera app.

It's USB C rather than Micro USB. It's the new standard.

As someone said USB-C is the new standard that slowly but surely all phones will move to.

Its introduction was somewhat delayed as there were issues with cables overheating during charging. The issue appears to be solved but I'd suggest to avoid buying cheap ones.

@1080 jawbreaker and @stoomc  Yes, it does the old 240fps slo mo but you have to expose it in the settings.

Camera app > Settings cog > Edit camera modes (scroll down for this)  > Rear camera

Really struggling on the screen protector front, i have had 2 from amazon now and had to remove both of them as they were not fit for purpose and i don't want the phone to be used "naked" what do people suggest ?
