I expect devs in a AAA company are salaried, and maybe get bonuses on top for sales performance.  I wonder how much of the actual sale they see in terms of pay packet, compared to how much the publisher, IP holder, CEO of 4A games etc gets.  If they get more because of the Epic deal then great, but if they get bonuses in relation to sales, then they have been screwed over.

I'm sure there would also of been some money from EPIC to make it exclusive though so it will also depend on where that has gone. Although I doubt that money would drip down to everyone.

To be fair that is the price the Americans are getting it for so I see that as just levelling the scores

I feel sorry for anyone who paid full bubble on epic store but those who got on steam just paid the valve tax I guess. (Which is actually how I think it should be, all games on all stores with the store front costs added at point of sale.

Exactly. Day 0 bugs, price fluctuations, reviews etc. Maybe once every couple of years a game comes out that I simply "have" to have preloaded ready for unlock on release day.

Looks to be getting excellent reviews too so quite looking forward to playing.

Anyway preordering is cheaper sometimes. Moreover, there were fans of 2 previous games who wanted to get the 3rd one as soon as possible. In other cases preordering is buying a pig in a pock, you're right.

Talking about the game, I think it's ok if you're not expecting something extremely good.
