Got round to actually playing it tonight with me mate for a few hours. We always bring in Xmas, gaming.
Nice easy start, bit of exploring, similar system to FA4 so easy to understand. Although if youre new to the series you might want to watch some vids on things like unlocking terminals and using workbenches.
Game looks great (everything max'd on 1080) and I generally cant see why its getting slated. Sure its not top of the line but its certainly decent, shadows are great. I seen videos where folk moaned about seeing bit of light the wrong place . .whatever . .the games lovely and smooth.
native ultra wide is great, flawless so far.
Stuff to do we are milling about just exploring, aim to build a good size camp to level up and go after some big buggers late game.
Enjoying it, certainly worth the 12 quid or so it is now. Not a 60 quid game, but accept it for what it is and have a blast.
tl:dr - its good and people moan too much. Perhaps the patches were just good. |
