I bought a new 3dsXL today in Game, went for the three extra digital games and chose Animal Crossing as one. The code isn't working yet but hopefully it will activate on Friday.

Nice - my order status is still processing.  They may hold them all until closer to the release day before sending.  Might not if you're lucky though. Fingers crossed....

Cool - annoyingly I will be within about 100 yards of Shopto HQ tomorrow.  Shame I can't intercept my package!

Game will do the same as ShopTo, get them all prepped and in a big sack ready to go then Royal Mail will collect them from the warehouse on Wednesday. All being well we'll be getting our copies on Thursday.
I'm going to be giving my hard copy to my sister, but as soon as it arrives I'm going to start playing it then transfer my save over when my digital code arrives.

Not sure if coins are usable in this, but I've been racking them up anyway. I've been taking my console to work with me and just leaving it in my bag. I'm earning 6 coins a day which soon adds up.

In New Leaf you can use your play coins to buy 'fortune cookies' after you've read your fortune you can exchange it for a piece of in game Nintendo Merchandise. The fortune may cause a positive or negative effect on your game, such as falling over constantly when running.
