I'd love a virtual console box. Pay a netflix style sub of  £7 a month and stream the back catalogue.

You'd be correct as my crystal ball tells me these are repurposed Wii Minis that Nintendo couldn't shift so they dressed them up in a new case and threw in 30 Virtual Console titles.

Excellent idea though as the official product name of "Nintendo Classic Mini: Nintendo Entertainment System" pretty much confirms that a mini SNES, 64 and (hopefully) Cube will be headed our way in 17, 18 and 19

One things for sure is these are going to sell like crazy to a whole chunk of folks that haven't played games since they were kids and when "that new Nintendo console" releases they'll already have had their nostalgia buds tickled enough to go an take a peek where they otherwise would have ignored.

Thought members might like this news , I'm not a great Ninty fan but I couldn't resist this . Will be like a kid on crimbo day as the wife is getting it for me , I expect a few more ( with rose tinted glasses to do the same ) to follow and I can see this selling out everywhere,  great idea.

Have mine pre-ordered, can't wait - even though I have an original NES sat in my cupboard.  Same with the SNES they do one of them I am in also have the original.
