I have both consoles preordered with shopto. They also do a savings scheme thing so you can throw a few quid in as and when you have it, rather than having to fork out the full amount in one go.

Will be cancelling my PS4 soon, there's just nothing there that's compelling me to buy one. I'm just waiting until after Gamescom to see if they blow us away with something.

Wish I'd known about this before, although I'm edging towards ps4 on price I think I'd prefer to stay with Xbox, not sure though and realistically money too tight to really consider dropping a wad just now, think it'll be at least a year until I get new shiny, even then my new shiny might just be a ps3 for the old exclusives, should be plenty cheap by then

You run still cycling into work these days? You notice a big saving from not driving/commuting?

Yes still cycling though must admit the ~£90 a month I'm not spending by getting the train does not seem to be there...somehow my money just gets ****** away. I'm terrible at saving. If I'd put that money aside each month since I'd started cycling I'd already have enough to buy a new console outright.

On the bright side, I have lost over two stone and haven't felt this fit in over ten years. Did my first 100  mile trip recently, and climbed Ben Nevis straight after it. Only another two stone to go to get to my target weight...

PS Just cancelled my PS4 preorder. Can't say I feel like I will be missing that much. I'm not exactly enamoured about the focus on Kinect but overall I still prefer what I've seen for the One. Also I'm looking forward to connecting my Raspberry Pi up to the HDMI in and seeing what I can do.
