Got the 8bitdo SNES pad - its great and seems exactly the same as old one. Its supposed to be wireless but I have to plug it in with the lead for it to work? Is this right?
Whats the weird temperature icon top right when playing ganes? Is this normal? Dont think it was there before but it is now.
How does the Pi connect to net? Has to be via ethernet cable I presume? I havenr seen anything to connect via wi-fi.
I have the 8bitdo FC30 pad - just got it connected. If it's bluetooth then you go into the retropie setup and configure the bluetooth - just follow the instructions on their wiki (presuming you have a Ri3 with bluetooth.
I have Ethernet in mine but you can connect via wifi.
I ended up just getting a 64Gb image downloaded so starting with that and then removing the systems I don't want.
I had a look at the SFC 30 pad configuring on a youtube video. Jeez. I wasn't expecting to program the bloody thing! It seems really long-winded in this day and age. Maybe I'll do it at some point. Thing is, he was used to the keyboard shortcuts and I haven't even used the command prompt yet so I cant help thinking its gonna be hard work. Might just leave it wired!
Shouldn't have to program it, unless you mean the buttons for each emulator?
To get it working via Bluetooth I just went to the retropie setup and found it, then changed two settings I think for 8bitdo controllers and all working
