The availability to 12 year olds will be under some form of supervision I would imagine, I'm not saying that they can just purchase freely, I'd expect that if they have an existing smoking habit they will be allowed it,  it just makes their argument fall on its face that ecigs need to be controlled for the sake of the children when they're own NRT (which it seems as if they have changed to (NCP) nicotine containing product is available to minors if required.

It's all a con mate, and I can see there being many suits in the euro courts over this.

I like how they claim they want to ensure NCP's are safe by regulating them as medicines when it is already known that the original NCP's (stinkies) are definitely not safe but have no qualms about allowing their continued sale.

However, when huge sum's of money are at stake these hypocrites are shameless in their pursuit of said cash.

Surely if e-cigs, PV's and the like are "medicinal" due to their delivery of the addictive substance that is nicotine it stands to reason that by the same token normal cigarettes are medicinal also

Ive took my ego on flights to Denmark. I filled the tank before the airport and carried my spare batteries and liquid in my suitcase. At security i put my tank in a clear plastic bag and they never asked a question about it.

All good and well but the issue is, in turkey, they arent as popular as here, its very uncommon, plus theres also the fact that I use the vivi nova and a itaste mvp so its a bit bulkier and looks more like some kind of vapouriser for illegal substances, something the turkish authorities are much more aware of than the uk ones given turkey is a major trafficking route

Maybe worth picking up a cigilike just for your trip or just sticking with patches, not ideal I know but better safe than sorry for some destinations!

I had only just started vaping and we went to Istanbul last September. I had an ego battery with a CE4 cartomiser in my hand luggage and some spare prefilled cartos in the hold luggage along with a battery charger. It was a mistake to prefil the cartos as they leaked in the plastic bag but luckily enough lasted me till we got home. At Istanbul Airport the Xray machine picked up the ecig and the guy checking the screen turned round to his supervisor who took one look and just nodded to me and said e-cigarette !!! and waved me through once I had shown it to him.

Biggest mistake was going to Spain earlier this year and I put some e liquid along with a few spare Batteries and Cartos in a small metal box in the hold luggage and was called out over the Tannoy to report to security. Think it must of looked a bit like a timer device or bomb in the metal box.   Got to security and had to open the case for them to check it but they had already guessed that it was E cig gear and were quite friendly about it. Thankfully it was small Airport, not sure what they would have been like at Stansted or Gatwick.

Saw quite a few Germans out there with ecigs as well.

Easy now..... I'm 19 but its a cultural thing, my cousins 32 and his parents still don't know he smokes, its just the way it is.
