I reckon at some races (u.s.) a 9:30 would get you kona.
Last year I ran a 38 off the bike which was the last Oly I did and was running a 37:13 PB. I've run 34:52 10k this year and as for Half ironman, I've only ever had one good run as either been injured or nutrition issues so not too sure.
Personally I think kona is very unlikely (although the race that got cancelled for me in Maryland last year, they halved the swim when they re-ran it a couple of weeks later and that would of been interesting) but I think half ironman is more within the realms of possibility if I can get the nutrition right. |
